It’s Late again. AND I have been wanting to send out a great little newsletter with a good recap of my BIG trip I took with my kids which we returned home from a little less than two weeks ago. It’s wild to think It has even been that long it feels like we just got back. The wild thing is I have been SO busy I haven’t been able to take the time for that yet! It was a Trip of Many Highs and Lows.
Lots of things not going as planned or the most convenient.
Here are a few Pictures that were shared. Stay tuned for lots more… eventually.
I am super busy and have been since I got back so It might take some time.
I have I story from this Trip I will always remember…
I will give you a sneak peak.. for now
Starting with some lyrics from our first song
A man named -Trouble (yup that’s right) He said his actual name was Derek but that NO ONE- NO ONE would know him by that.
A man named Trouble… A homeless man…
When I was at my lowest moment of the trip he appeared.
The lyrics in our first song say Happiness can be borrowed from the stranger next to you if all they share is a smile.
I believe this to be true in the core of me. I have experienced this so much.
Well Trouble did more than a smile. He wiped a tear from my check with his dirty sweet hand…That moment I will never forget.
I was in a tricky spot, my mini vans engine had over heated somewhere in Nashville Tennessee at around 7 pm. (So all the auto places were closed)
An Engine overheating- That’s what had led to my last mini van’s ending… So I was super freaked out.
and I could sense we weren’t pulled over in NOT the safest Spot..
or were we?
I will share the rest soon.
I love this song. Highs and Lows.
And especially this line
This lyric lines show what is possible with out tiny acts of kindness to those we encounter.
We have so much means right now to make someone or many someone-s day(s) better if we can add a little extra presence, connection soul to soul. And an easy free and fast way to do that is to look someone in the eyes and Smile.
Its wild how impactful it can be.
and I say its simple but really it takes GUTS. I can’t always do it even and I am a BIG fan of such ways of being. But oh when I can when I do It Is HUGELY good for me and my knowing of myself as someone who shares smiles with strangers. It feels good to connect. We crave connection. We crave being seen and valued.
We crave knowing ourselves as people who matter who make a difference.
A Smile is a Powerful Super Power.
And You don’t need a phone booth moment and a cape in order to use it
.
These songs are great I hope you take a listen. (click on the circle in the right hand corner with the three wavy lines to open up the playlist in spotify to listen )
Your Smile REALLY Really Really really really really IS Beautiful. Please Don’t be afraid to share it.
You might just bring someone up from a low to a high with that simple gift of human connection.
Sending My love to You!

Happy July!
